I was doing an analysis with data through October. I separated it by naming two sets of data Jan-May 05 & Jun-Oct 05 for easy downloading.
I wanted to make sure I was getting five months worth of data for each download and yes January, February, March, April, May = Five months. I looked at my other data and thought, JUNE? June through October is not five months. I counted on my fingers… June, July, October. That’s three! But October is the TENTH month and if I go from Jan thru May, that’s five right? Then June, July, October! That’s only three!
I went over the first five months again making sure my count was right by reciting the months in my head. Yes, Jan thru May is five months. And after May – I had to make sure - is June! And June, July, October is three months. THREE MONTHS?!?!?!
WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!?
