One of my all time heroes, Mr. Miyagi - Pat Morita - has passed away. I grew up watching him as Arnold on Happy Days. And then he taught Daniel-san the Crane move. "When done right, no can defense."I was inspired to be a Martial Artist because of Mr. Miyagi. He taught me a lesson in The Karate Kid:
"That the secret to Karate lies in the mind and heart. Not in the hands."
And although Jacob is very young he also has learned something from Mr. Miyagi.
He learned how to catch flies with chopsticks!
Pat Morita, Arnold, Mr. Miyagi... You will be missed.
