Amateur photography...

I'm totally loving my camera right now. As I learn how to take better pictures, I'm also using a lot of the other features that help make pictures 'look' better. Like White Balance, manually adjusting speed and aperture, etc.

I entered this photo in a Canon G-series photo contest and although I didn't come in 1st, 2nd or 3rd... I got a "Special Mention" next to the top 3 pictures. LOL

Special Mention: "All the chromed metal shines surrounded by the rubber tire that shows all its detail outlined by reflections. The blue at right and the sharp focus in all the image except the far background contributes to a beautiful picture."

The theme of the contest was "WHEELS".
