I believe I'll get responses like, "You haven't seen The Godfather 2?" or "How could you not see "North by Northwest?" Well, having seen more than 50% of these films is pretty good. Some I would probably never watch again, some I can barely remember seeing but know I've seen and some I'll eventually get to... I mean, I do have a life. Unlike some.

To add a picture to the post, here's my 3rd place entry (out of 9 entries) in a Canon G-series (including Pro1) photo contest of the week.

It was quite hard for me to chose a third place spot but I thought it best to be decisive. I like the focus on the front ball - it is quite tight and I might have preferred a bit more foreground (not much but a bit). For me I think this has to do with "negative space" - a bit more around the top ball would have (I feel) worked a bit more. It must have been a trick taking a photo of those oh-so-shiny cups, vs the soft balls. There is nearly a triangle of shape formed by the balls in the background, which works well for me. The image looks a bit compressed, which I am sure was to allow to post to the forum. The title is a great element - which ball to look at? Normally we focus on the place where the focus is - but then isn't that part of the game? I didn't get the "hint" but the suggestion kept me searching.
